I’m the Minister to High School Students, and I previously
worked as a volunteer with this high school ministry since 1999. I also
work part-time in the paint department at the Home Depot in Seattle.
I became a Christian when I was young, as a result of my
parents and friends at University Presbyterian Church in Seattle. I
started volunteering with high school students at Shoreline Covenant when Matt
Montzingo invited me to help him with music and some events. I decided to
go to church here because I felt so welcomed here and I liked that it was so
much smaller than the church I came from!
Christy and I got married in February of 2006, and immediately
went to live in Tijuana for 9 months, where we lived in an orphanage and hosted
American teams that came to build houses.
