At Shoreline Covenant Church we seek to provide opportunities for people to grow in their understanding and practice of the Christian Faith and thereby deepen their relationship to Jesus Christ. Below you will find a summary of most of the ministries we provide to help people achieve those goals. If you would like more specific information about any of these ministries please contact us. CHILDRENSUNDAY SCHOOL On Sunday mornings at 10:00, from September through May, we provide Sunday School classes for children of all ages. PIONEER CLUBS On Wednesday nights, from September until May, we have an active Pioneer Club program for children from preschool through sixth grader. This club program emphasizes memorization of Scripture mixed with a good dose of games and crafts. Children are welcome to join in all year. COVENANT KIDS We also have a music/drama ministry for children, first through sixth grades. This group, Covenant Kids, begins rehearsing in September and performs a musical in December. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL In June we offer a Vacation Bible School that has been well received and is much anticipated by our local community. JUNIOR HIGH AND SENIOR HIGHWe have an active ministry to junior and senior high students. CALLED OUT is a choir made up of junior high, senior high and college aged students. They typically sing once a month at our church and perform at other places and times as well. The Junior High students have their group meeting on Monday nights at 6:30. Check the calendar for specific dates and events. The Senior High students have a variety of activities this summer, pick up a calendar on the bulletin board by the office or contact the church office for more information. Both groups have active schedules with retreats and other activities. ADULTSOur ministry to adults is a menu of options that changes throughout the year. Some of our offerings are:
WOMEN'S MINISTRIESWomen's Ministries at Shoreline Covenant is an active and vibrant
ministry. Our mission statement is “Connecting women through a caring
environment that will equip them to grow, serve and reach out with the love
of Jesus Christ.” We have 2 Co-Directors and a team of 16 women that
minister to the women of our church family through our Care, Celebration,
Fellowship, Open Door, Quilt, Prayer Shawl, and Spiritual Growth ministries.
Women's Ministries offers a variety of opportunities for women throughout
the year We encourage kids to take part in our summer camp program by providing partial scholarships to all who sign up. Last year we helped send over 60 kids to camp. Our regional conference has a tremendous camp and conference facility and a staff that delivers great programming. The All-Church campout in late summer offers a terrific opportunity for fellowship and recreation in a beautiful Whidbey Island setting. MISSIONSWe support our denomination’s mission effort as well as individual missionaries. We help and encourage people in our congregation to take part in short-term and long-term missions experiences. 1304 House is the outreach to our local community.
